Coffee Time News 16/06/14

Good morning everyone, hope you had a great weekend, back to work now, and back to news!

Film

The Fast and the Furious 7, which obviously suffered the tragic loss of Paul Walker, seems to be faced with even more delays, apparently due to Vin Diesel’s lack of cooperation, but that seems fairly out of character for the actor.

Some new set pictures from Avengers 2 have brought about a whole host of new speculation, including the, er, inclusion of the Agents of Shield.

The publicity train for Transformers just keeps on chugging, and don’t forget. it’s a Michael Bay film, by Michael Bay, and is out on the 27th of June.

Television

Early reviews of Gotham have praised it for being a solid and well made origin story, if you’d like to learn a bit more, head over here for tweets galore.

Arrow Season 3 has a few new faces being added to the roster, but beware, major season 2 spoilers ahead.

A bit of politics (or as close as we get here at Axby) now, as Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman speaks at a TV and Correspondents’ dinner. The deadpan humour really makes it fantastic, no moustache though.

Games

Dance your way to victory in Destiny (if they don’t get rid of the glitch/feature/best way to win a war)

The creators of Zelda are talking about mixing up the puzzle solving aspect (as well as a few other things) in the upcoming title for the Wii U.

Sirvo, the guys behind addictive mobile game Threes!, has a new game on the horizon, called Close Castles it’s part tower defence, part RTS. Both game genres that aren’t my favourite, but the sound track is KICKING.
