Doctor Who Season 9 gets a trailer for its return on the 19th of September, which you can check out here. It’s got all the good stuff, running, screwdrivers, quarries.

Batmobile spotted on the Suicide Squad set, Twin Peaks season 3 will be 18 episodes long, Resident Evil 0 getting a remaster.

We are mere WEEKS away from revisiting Jurassic Park, though this time it’s been under a bit of a rebrand because now it’s Jurassic World and it’s got Starlord as a park ranger. It’s all looking pretty cool, and you can check out this behind the scenes before the film is released on June 11th.

It seems Wolverine’s got the go-ahead to cameo in Deadpool, it’s all set and ready, though… well the films are filming on opposite sides of Canada. So that could get in the way. Hugh Jackman has come out and said that it’s all a matter of scheduling, so here’s hoping they find some time in their calendar to fit Wolvie into Deadpool’s adventure.

The Batmobile has been spotted on the set of the Suicide Squad, so perhaps Batman has a bigger role in the spin-off than we previously thought? Also seen on set, weird eyeball monsters.

Everyone’s favourite Smith is rumoured to be playing Static Shock, the DC live action digital series. Actor Tyler James Williams let something of an unofficial confirmation of Jayden Smith playing the supercharged superhero slip during an interview at MCM Comic Con.

Last week we reported that David Lynch was returning to the Twin Peaks revival, and that the new season would be ‘longer than previously stated’ with Lynch directing the entire season, well now we know exactly how many more episodes there will be; twice as many. The new season will feature 18 episodes as opposed to the 9 that were planned when the season came to fruition.

Bloodborne now allows for friends to play with other friends regardless of level, thanks to password matching, in the most recent patch for the From Software game.

Originally released as an exclusive for the Gamecube, Resident Evil 0 is getting a remastering for almost every console (both last gen and this gen) besides the Wii U, slated for an early 2016 release, the remake will be available on 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and 4 and PC.

The Witcher 3 for PC is getting a heap of new patches in the most recent update, one of which includes a texture update on the higher graphical settings.

Crossbones’ Costume revealed, alternate Hulk Vs Ironman fight from Age of Ultron and David Lynch returns to Twin Peaks.

In case you missed it over the weekend, here’s a picture of Frank Grillo’s character Brock Rumlow from Civil War, only with a bit of a makeover; last seen recovering from serious wounds after fighting Falcon in The Winter Soldier, Rumlow will return in Civil War as Crossbones, who will almost definitely have a vendetta against cap and the gang.

One of the biggest draws for Age of Ultron was the Hulkbuster Vs Hulk fight, now I was pretty happy with how that scene went down, but here’s an alternate version in the form of an animated storyboard, of how that fight could have gone down; much more gas, less call backs to punching Thor in his big Norse face.

Mad Max Fury Road which has been receiving a lot of praise across the board for various reasons, has enjoyed over a box office opening of over £100 Million, sitting second place to Pitch Perfect 2.

Last week we reported the list of shows that would, and those that would not, be getting a season renewal come the fall, and on the latter list was The Mindy Project, but immediately after the cancellation there were whispers of an on demand service picking up the show, and those rumours turned out to be right on the money, as Hulu has picked the show up for a 26 episode run.

It’s been a wild ride for Twin Peaks fans since the announcement that the show would be returning again for another season; first excitement, then disappointment when David Lynch left the project, well breath easy fans, because Lynch is back on board, and not only that, but he’ll be directing the entire series, which will be longer than the 9 hours previously stated.

Greg Berlanti has discussed the possibility of The Flash and Arrow crossing over with CBS’ Supergirl, and has said that it’s most likely not going to happen. He says it could happen, but a lot of things would have to go right for it to.

Fans of indie games Octodad and Thomas Was Alone who play Little Big Planet 3 will be in for a treat, as costumes for both those games are coming to the creativity fuelled Playstation exclusive.

Want to play Super Smash Brothers but don’t own a WiiU? You only have a PC? Well Check in, Knock out could be what you’re looking for, featuring special abilities, destructible environments and charming art, this brawler could satiate your need.

Bad news for Top Gear and Twin Peaks fans, Good news for Star Wars, Daredevil and Ian Malcolm fans. Also a way to nerf Bloodborne’s bosses.

An image from Jurassic World has appeared which hints at either, an appearance from Ian Malcolm in the upcoming film, being set 22 years after the events of the original, or a small nod to the character. The image, which features books by the character titled ‘god creates Dinosaurs’ is a reference to Malcolm’s line in the film ‘God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, man destroys God, man creates dinosaurs.’ (Dinosaurs eat man, woman inherits the earth).

For the first time since its release, the entirety of the Star Wars series will be available via online distribution, including Itunes, Amazon and Google Play. The best thing? They include even more bonus features.

A gallery of on set photos for Deadpool has appeared, featuring the Merc with a Mouth laying down all kinds of whoopass. What’s interesting is that if you look closely on the eyes you’ll see CG markers, confirming that the mask will have some form of computer enhanced expression, something that will add to the character a lot more.

Bad news Top Gear fans, due to the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, and the uncertainty surrounding the show’s future at the moment, it’s looking like the final two episodes of the motoring/three guys arsing around show might not be airing on the BBC.

Bad news for Twin Peaks fans too, it looks like David Lynch has officially stepped away from the revival project, stating that as much as he loves the world of Twin Peaks, he feels that not enough money has been promised to the project to realise what he wanted for the show.

Good news, however, for Daredevil fans. The Netflix show kicks off this Friday, with all episodes available from day one, and here’s two trailers to get you in the mood, the best thing about these is that they show us so much more of the show. I’m very keen for Friday.

IGN brings you the first 15 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in this Gameplay video, and for those worried that this might ruin the experience, game designer Damien Monnier has said that to do everything, you’re looking at 200+ hours. So, this is but a drop in the ocean.

April’s system update for Xbox One has begun rolling out, and if you’re not sure what you’re getting with that lovely lovely download, check out this video from Major Nelson detailing some of the ins and outs as well as what’s coming soon.

Bloodborne, it’s a tough game, but if you’ve got 12 hours to sit idling you can make the bosses in the game much, much easier. Bosses no longer do a huge variety of attacks, and some are laughably easy. Check out here for some comparisons and details.

Twin Peaks show in trouble, A Batman cameo in the Suicide Squad and PS Plus is free this weekend.

While John Williams will be coming out of his semi retirement to score Star Wars The Force Awakens, he won’t be scoring the recently announced spin off Rogue One, that job, it seems, will be going to Godzilla (2014) composer Alexandre Desplat.

Batman could be making a cameo appearance in Suicide Squad, according to a rumour from Latino review, who are usually on the money, Batman will be a person of interest for the government, supposedly he’s a bit of a mystery, with the only person who’s had any exposure to him being the Joker.

Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast has been set for release on the 17th of March 2017, and will begin filming later this year. The film will in fact be a musical, which will be a departure from Disney’s recent remakes (such as Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland) and will include songs from the 1992 original as well as new ones.

Game of Thrones gets another new teaser in preparation for April 12th. This one focusses on the mother of Dragons, (among other things).

David Lynch has come out and said that there are ‘complications’ holding up the Twin Peaks series, though Co-creator Mark Frost says that it isn’t funding… What could it be?

That’s put an end to one mystery then: the Sherlock Christmas special will actually be taking place in Victorian England, and the set pictures we’ve seen aren’t from some elaborate Holmes-ian ruse.

We always like fund-raising stories here at Axby, and this weekend Five Nights at Freddy’s creator Scott Cawthon raised over £170,000 for charity. Top work fella.

To celebrate the release of Battlefield Hardline this weekend, Playstation plus will be free for just under 72 hours from Friday 20th to Sunday the 22nd.

A spiritual sequel to Banjo Kazooie  is heading our way, and will be partially funded by Kickstarter, check over here for more details on project Ukulele.

The one stop shop for all the biggest Superbowl film trailers! We’ve got the seven biggest film trailers from last night’s game as well as our regular news round up!

It’s had a long road (if you car-don the pun, god I hate myself) but Furious 7 is very much alive, and very much exactly what we want from these movies. Stuff like jumping through skyscrapers in sports cars. It also seems like the film’s got heart, which isn’t surprising considering the untimely death of Paul Walker, which was bound to resonate with such a close cast.

Jurassic World, love or hate what you’ve seen so far, you’ve got to admit it looks enticing as all hell. With a little more action in this trailer and a much better look at the new dinosaur (named the Indominus Rex), we also get to see more of the chaos that will reign when she gets loose.

Pixar held out on us last year, after there was no new release from the studio that brought you Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, this year we’ll get to see Inside Out, and in this trailer we get a little more of a showcase of the main emotions of the show, also, you know, puppy bowl needs to be a sport now.

Well. Arnie was right, he is certianly back in the new Terminator Genisys trailer. Buses are flipping, shotguns are cocking, the T-1000 is doing his liquid metal thing; the soft-kind-of-reboot-maybe-a-retcon is definitely going to be a spectacle.

Do you have plans this Valentines day? Does it involve going to watch Fifty Shades of Grey with your significant other? A boastful beginning leads to pretty much the same sort of thing we’ve seen in the other trailers, but hey, the book sold millions!

The last marketing push for Legendary’s Seventh Son, which opens in US theatres on the 6th of this month, shows of monsters, magic, swords and Jeff Bridges (who’s sporting the same beard from True Grit I think).

Pitch Perfect was an absolutely delight surprise, so let’s hope that this year’s sequel can deliver to the same standard. The stakes are bigger, and so, we can assume, are the performances. With a host of cameos of both musical and… otherwise (the Greenbay Packers?) this will definitely be bigger than the first.

If you’re anything like me, in that you freaking loved Heroes when it first hit our screens, you’ll want to see this first look at the 13 episode spinoff Heroes Reborn. Featuring HRG (Jack Coleman, a mysterious child who can create an Aura Borealis, and Chuck’s Zachary Levi is all great, but what’s really awesome is that trademark heroes wail.

IZombie has seen a bit more of the daylight recently, though that’s not always a great thing for the undead, but this new trailer shows off a lot more than the one we featured last week, also, call me a ghoul, but that brain salad looks  kind of tasty.

David Duchovny could return to Twin Peaks as well as the X-files, He seems pretty hedgy about returning to both, but at the same time, sort of confident. I think he knows more than he’s letting on.

Now normally we don’t feature mobile games on this site, especially those that carry the ability to be as exploitive as Clash of Clans, but the new trailer is actually pretty damn entertaining. Need more convincing? It features Liam f*cking Neeson.

This Month Xbox live members can download IDARB for free if they’re on Xbox One or if you’re on the 360 you can grab the phenomenal Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons up until the 16th, and after that you can bag yourself Sniper Elite V2

Battlefield Hardline is getting another open beta this month, starting tomorrow (Feb 3rd) and ending on the 8th, the beta will feature 3 maps, and a gamemode entitle heist so yes, Battlefield, which isn’t even out yet, is getting heists before GTA.

Ryan Reynolds’ Cat tells him to kill people, a new Avengers 2 trailer and we could see the return of Banjo and Kazooie!

The new Mr Fantastic, Miles Teller, talks about his choice to join the Fantastic Four cast and how he feels he’ll be a great fit for the role.

The Voices is a horror comedy from the fairly fresh director Marjane Satrapi and stars Ryan Reynolds as a likeable guy who’s pets tell him to do less than legal things. Especially his cat. The rest of the cast includes Anna Kendrick and Gemma Arterton and you can check out the promising trailer here.

April the 26th and the Avengers Age of Ultron literally can’t come soon enough, but until then here’s the newest trailer, which sees Ultron laying down some whoopass on Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Frank Underwood is back in the new House of Cards season 3 trailer, after he’s worked his way to the top, will he be able to stay there? Who knows, but if you need to catch up on the series, both seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix to get you geared up for the premier of season 3 on February 27th.

Kyle MacLachlan (who many of you will recognise from How I Met Your Mother and Agents of SHIELD) is officially returning to Twin Peaks for its new season next year.

Rob Gorrie (as the World Turns) has landed the role of the father to the boy wonder, John Grayson, in Gotham and will appear in the episode ‘The Blind Fortune Teller’.

On January 14th (that’s tomorrow) Nintendo will be airing another Nintendo direct, at 14:00 GMT, which will focus on spring 2015 Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles.

So, Majora’s Mask.

Destiny’s newest Hot Fix is out, and it’s all about that raid, Crota’s End. There’s a few more points that they’ve edited too, level 32 exotic weapon drops on VoG and some crucible map changes, and Iron Banner will be back later today.

Microsoft has announced that there are plans for some of the old Rare classics like Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark, but they ask for patience, since there’s only so many games they can make at one time.
