Halo 5 gets a release date and 2 trailers, Deadpool’s costume revealed and Hiro  to make a return to the Heroes spinoff.

In case you missed it on Friday, the first trailer for the 24th Bond film Spectre was released; it’s all full of mystery and secrets and blind people looking at rings. I make it sound lame, but it’s not, go look.

Hugh Jackman is a confusing beast. First he says that Wolverine 3 will be his last outing with the character, then he says that he’d like to play the canuck until he dies, now he’s released this tweet saying ‘one last time’

Is this the last time he’s working with James Mangold? The last solo outing? Or his last film as Wolverine? More on it as it develops.

Wolverine could very well make an appearance in Deadpool, since the latest plot synopsis harkens back to the weapon X program, and the origins of the Merc with the mouth (all doable thanks to the Days of Future Past Retcon). On top of that, Reynolds has also released this image of the costume, in perfect Deadpool fashion.

A new trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s Blunt Talk with Patrick Stewart has appeared, and it’s showing us Stewart in a way we’ve not really seen before.

There’s a bunch of new footage in the newest TV Spot for Daredevil showing both action and Daredevil’s training (I assume) as well as a conversation with perhaps another blind man, perhaps he’ll help Murdock hone his skills?

Heroes Reborn has had little in the way of announcements recently, but the most recent one heralds the return of Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura. The time travelling/teleporting hero from the original series.

Well this is super interesting: Halo 5 Guardians has a release date; 27th of October this year, but more exciting, the news comes with two new trailers, live action ones at that. Now, the two trailers sort of show the same event, from different perspectives, they seem to be drilling in the whole ‘hunt the truth’ thing  we saw with the audio teaser.

Zelda for the WiiU has been delayed until next year, series producer Eiji Aonouma has announced. Saying that during development more ideas have come forth and their focus is no longer on a 2015 release, but instead on creating the best Zelda game they can.

Bloodborne players have experienced a progress stalling bug, resulting in the inability to get an item to progress in the game. The best way to avoid it is to refrain from using a summoning bell to initiate a multiplayer session in the Forbidden Forest section.

Cabin in the Woods’ Drew Goddard to direct Spiderman, Wet Hot American Summer prequel gets a release date, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is suddenly released.

Jurassic World would like to build your excitement in the form of these seven pieces of artwork featuring all new dinosaurs for the film (not hybrids like the film’s Big Bad, but dinos that we’ve not seen properly yet). Is this doing it for you? Are you excited yet? I mean, if you’re not excited by motorcycle chasing raptors you might be a lost cause.

Good news Jackman fans. We all know that Hugh Jackman is Wolverine, and it looks like he’s not got any plans to stop soon (I keep using my birthday wishes to get an Old Man Logan film) as in an interview (most likely promoting Chappie) when asked whether or not he’d be featuring in Deadpool he avoided the question and said it would be cool, and he’d be open to the idea. DO IT HUGH.

Drew Goddard, who some of you might know as the writer/director for Cabin in the Woods, writer for Alias and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as his work on the upcoming Daredevil Netflix show, has been confirmed as the director for the Spiderman film that will combine the MCU and Sony, reportedly titled Spectacular Spiderman. With his history of working with Joss Whedon and the Daredevil show it looks like we could get a film series that will complement the universe that Marvel has set up thus far.

Come meet the Kingpin from Netflix’s Daredevil played by Vincent D’Onofrio in these new images (we finally see his face!) he’s imposing enough, but in honesty? He kind of looks like a doughy Phil Mitchell.

Netflix has released a whole load of premier dates for their shows, Season 3 of Orange is the New Black gets a June 12th release while the much anticipated Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp comes in a month later on July 17th. For the rest of the list, which includes Sense8 and a heap of Stand up specials, check out Screenrant.

Finally for TV we’ve got a full length trailer for season 3 of Orphan Black, a show full of intrigue and secrets only gets more so after the defeat of DYAD.

So, out of freakin’ nowhere (as is this series kind of deal) Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is out! It’s available on Steam for £5.59, but you probably don’t need to play it, since every let’s player on Youtube will be covering it in the next few weeks.

Yacht Club Games has announced the first piece of DLC for Shovel Knight, named Plague of Shadows. It will feature fan favourite boss ‘Plague Knight’ and his quest to find potion ingredients, it will feature new paths in familiar levels as well as completely new levels. Plague Knight himself will have a whole new moveset to Shovel Knight, meaning it’s a whole new game, basically. Oh, and it’s free! (it’s just, not out yet.)

Finally, Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remastered has been announced for the PS4 and will release on May 12th in North America.

By Joe Strange

After a weekend of giant monsters and weddings, I’m happy to be back with the start of this week’s Coffee Time News!

Before I could even get my review up, and after a phenomenally successful opening weekend, Godzilla’s got a sequel planned.

You may know him as Falcon from the Winter Soldier, but soon Anthony Mackie will be playing Jimi Hendrix in a new Biopic, named, er, Jimi.

And to back pedal on what I reported last week, Hugh Jackman has come out and said that he’s less sure about leaving the character of Wolverine. Make up your mind!

Ronan the Accuser, one of the main antagonists for the Marvel space romp Guardians of the Galaxy, has a first look. (Thanks Flickering Myth) Doesn’t he look accusatory?

There’s a new Halo TV series to go with the recent Halo 5 announcement. Bigger in scope than Forward onto Dawn.

Agent Carter, the newest addition to the MCU, will be a run of 8 episodes and will fill the mid season break of the second season of SHIELD.

Netflix’s incredibly popular Orange is the New Black, has a ream of character gif posters in preparation for the release of Season 2.

Not that it’s new news anymore, but I’d be darned if I didn’t report on the announcement of Halo 5: Guardians from Friday, with a release date of autumn 2015.

The WiiU is the greenest console, as in, the least energy draining, still mostly white and black in colour.

MetaCritic Matters, an expose-esk article on the harmful effects of metacritics. It’s worth a watch, especially if you’re still lamenting the injustice of Fallout New Vegas.

Ever wondered what Oblivion would look like on the Skyrim Engine? Because I would play the crud out of a remade Oblivion, as long as they kept the original music.
