The Good Dinosaur gets a trailer, The Minecraft Movie gets a director and Dark Souls 3’s combat gets quicker.

A new trailer (the first real trailer) for Disney/Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur has launched, and it’s shaping up to be a buddy film with very little speech, kind of along the lines of Wall-E I imagine. But still, dinosaurs, adventure, great animation? Sign me up.

Last month we lost composer James Horner, known for doing scores for films such as Braveheart, Titanic and Avatar. Well it seems that despite that we’ve not seen the last of his work, as it’s recently been revealed that Horner had written the score to The Magnificent Seven before his passing.

Finally, there’s been a new trailer, some new images and a new plot synopsis for Spectre the upcoming Bond film.

The X-Files reboot, it seems, will not just be Mulder and Scully looking around empty rooms and interacting with no one at all, as we’ve got some co-stars to report! Robbie Amell (The Flash) Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) are all set to co-star.

Quite a dark, contrasted look at Grant Gutin’s new suit for the Flash season 2, but hey, it’s something I suppose.

A new short trailer for Supergirl has surfaced, it doesn’t show off a lot more, but once again, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Movie/game news up first, and the Minecraft Movie has a director in the form of Always Sunny’s Rob McElhenney.

Apparently Bloodborne had more lasting effects than a pile of broken controllers, and as a result of the game, the combat in Dark Souls 3 will be faster paced than it’s predecessors.

Michael Cera to play Lego Robin, Deadpool returns to Steam and The Flash set pictures show that he’s got a day all to himself.

Ahead of its release… TODAY, Ant-man has three new clips for those of us who just can’t wait any longer!

Lord of the awkward character actor Michael Cera will be playing Robin in the Lego Batman movie that will tie in with the world created in the Lego Movie.

Age of Ultron fans, but those fans who wish that Joss Whedon’s vision and voice was a little more prevalent in the film, may be a little disappointed to hear that Whedon has no plans to do a directors cut of the film.

Behind the scenes photos for AKA Jessica Jones now, and like, literally all of the other photos it shows Luke Cage riding a motorcycle with Krysten Ritter’s Jones in tow.

A new teaser trailer for the new season of the X-files has hit, and it’s all exactly like we expected, complete with the doo-doo-doo-doo dooo at the end.

New set photos from the Flash show us two things; one that Central city is celebrating the Flash with a day imaginatively called ‘flash day’ (probably has a dance called Flash dance too right?) which means either he’s done something huge, or it’s the anniversary of him doing something huge. It also shows us a new villain, Atom Smasher, who can control his molecular structure, altering his size and strength.

Goat Simulator, you know, that game where you’re a crazed goat, is coming to the PS3 and PS4 in August and will support local split screen co-op.

Destiny will be getting an overhaul at the end of the summer, with Destiny 2.0 changes coming into effect, one of these is a huge upheaval of many weapon’s behaviours, from class changes to individual exotic tweaks.

Activision’s Deadpool game has been missing from Steam since 2013 when it was released, but suddenly it’s back, could it be because the new film doesn’t look like trash? Probably.

Ghostbusters Spinoff not currently on the cards, The Joker and Mr Freeze confirmed for Gotham season 2, and Games for Gold gets an upgrade.

With Ant-man so very close now, we’re getting more and more promotional material; today it’s an international trailer which focusses on the father/daughter relationship we’re likely to see as well as a commercial for Cross technologies, the antagonists of the film.

It looks like Disney is somewhat tired of superheroes and the retelling of fairy stories and instead is looking to base a film in Science. That is, an action movie based on the formative life of naturalist Charles Darwin.

Channing Tatum has out and said that currently, at this moment, at the time of writing, the Ghostbusters spin off starring himself (who is set to be in the female lead reboot) is not happening, as it’s too complicated.

Heroes Reborn finally has a full trailer with actual clips from the actual show with actual actors, as well as a synopsis which you can get your hands on here. Also, we called it, Levi is an antagonist.

The X-files reboot has its first few images of an aged and reunited Mulder and Scully, which you can check out over at Screenrant.

The synopsis for season 2 of Gotham moves the Joker and Mr Freeze rumours from the mill to the hard fact, as it confirms that season 2 will focus on them, as well as the mystery of Bruce Wayne’s father. It will return on September 21st.

Xbox’s Games for Gold is getting a little better, well actually, twice as good, as instead of the offering of one free game a month on Xbox One, starting July you’ll be privy to two free games a month.

In a positive move for the quality of gaming, EA have announced that if Star Wars Battlefront isn’t up to snuff by the time November roles around, they will delay the game to refrain from releasing an unfinished product.

Ah Bungie, they do try don’t they? Releasing a huge expansion later this year, they had the best intentions to bundle all the goodies into a package that would require you to buy all the stuff dedicated players already had to get it all, now they’ve been told (very loudly) that that’s not on, they’ve started making moves to make the ‘year one’ players feel more appreciated.

Is Captain Marvel already cast? Is there a new Star Wars television series on the way? Will Gambit be in Apocalypse? RUMOURS!

A few casting/cameo rumours this morning. First up is the rumour that, alongside cameos from Storm and Wolverine in Xmen Apocalypse, the next instalment of the Xmen franchise could also see the first look at Channing Tatum’s Gambit, before his feature film in October 2016, now this is a rumour, so it might not be true, but I can’t see why they wouldn’t do it.

For those who missed it yesterday, here’s the full length trailer for Mission :Impossible – Rogue Nation. Starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson.

The last bit of movie rumour-ness is exciting for a few reasons; first of all, it’s been thrown about the internet since Avengers that Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) could make some sort of appearance in Age of Ultron, but since no-one was cast, and the standalone film was announced for 2018, those talks simmered down. Well now there are rumours (and once again, these are only that) that we could indeed see an un-powered Danvers in Age of Ultron, with a strong likelihood that the role has been cast in absolute secret. Which means Marvel can still surprise us.

More rumours, geez, what is it today? This time on the Star Wars front. There’s a rumour that we could see a live action Star Wars series that will film between the shooting of the feature films, to keep the assets and production values of a similar ilk. They’d help build the Universe and prepare us for the stories to come. But it’s just a rumour.

Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller has released a load of details pertaining to season 3, including directorial announcements and a time-jump mid season to fast forward to the events of red dragon, which will introduce Richard Armitage.

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny will be returning for the 6 episode X-Files run, 20th Century Fox has confirmed. The show will start filming this summer, and a restricted run will allow for some nice, concise story telling, so I’m all about it.

Like Rainbow Six? Well you can now sign up to the closed Beta for Rainbow Six: Siege without pre-ordering the game (instead you go onto a sort of wait-list).

The second piece of DLC for The Evil Within hits consoles on the 21st of April and will follow directly on from the events of the first, check out the trailer here.

The Jaws of Hakkon the first piece of DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition is officially out now for Xbox One and PC, still no date on the PS4 release though, expect it in the coming weeks. Also, trailer. Right here.

American Sniper claims the Box Office top spot, Time Travelling Flash and Master Chief Collection Matchmaking gets another update.

The first cast photo for Now You See Me 2; Second Act has appeared, and as well as showing off some new faces (Including Daniel Radcliffe) it also shows off Jessie Eisenberg’s shorter cropped hair. Now this could confirm that we will be seeing a bald Lex Luthor in Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice.

Oscar Nominated American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper has broken a bunch of box office records by raking in over $90 dollars in its first weekend. That’s a lot of money.

Add this to the ‘Spiderman’s in trouble’ pile but Felicity Jones, who you may remember played a small part in the Amazing Spiderman 2 as Felicia Hardy (the Black Cat), has recently come out and said that there are ‘no plans’ for her to reprise the role of the character. Which is a shame considering that with the loss of Emma Stone, that series will need someone like Jones to shift it away from being a bit of a boys’ club,

Well this never bodes well, NBC have expressed their doubts that Constantine will be coming back for a second season after the full 22 episode run was denied late last year.

Fox are ‘hopeful’ about the return of the X-Files after actor Gillian Anderson rallied the show’s fans to show their support for a new season.

Everyone knew that The Flash would eventually be introducing the idea of time travel in the first season of the series (mostly because the show’s creators told us) well looks like we’ve got a date for our first time travel, the fifteenth episode of the show will see an accidental trip that’s played for both ‘hilarity and darkness.’

The next update for the Halo Master Chief Collection will see more tweaks to the flawed matchmaking system as well as a heap of other updates for both the multiplayer and the single player games.

A few weeks ago we mentioned that Microsoft have changed their terms of use policy regarding monetising and gameplay videos on youtube and the like with their games. Well today they clarified it once again, and it’s good news. Titles like ‘let’s play Halo 5’ and ‘tips and tricks for Forza Horizon’ will be allowed. Read more about it here.

Majora’s Mask 3D has now got its own site where you can catch up on all the latest news for one of the most anticipated remakes of the year. And here you can check out the latest trailer for the game.
