First Mockingjay part 2 trailer, Jurassic World outsells the Avengers and Five Nights at Freddy’s Four is OUT NOW.

The first full length trailer for Mockingjay part 2 has surfaced, and it gives us all a better look at what we can be expecting when the film is released on November 20th. (Hint, it’s a Hunger Games, without the arena).

X-men Apocalypse has its first hi-res images of the young Xmen we’re due to meet in Brian Singer’s fourth directorial performance of the series; meet Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nighcrawler, Storm and Jubilee.

Jurassic World has outsold the Avengers to become the third highest grossing film of all time, behind James Cameron’s Avatar and Titanic, so it’s no surprise that the sequel has been lined up for June 22 2018.

The Muppets Show for ABC has a ten minute long pitch for you, apparently this is what one the show a place on the network, and you can see why, it’s pretty funny.

Gotham Season 2 has a few teasers, well, actually 2, 2 trailers. One focussing on just how deep into trouble Gordon will go to do his job and the other focussing on Bruce Wayne and the cliff hanger the season left him on.

Caity Lotz (Sara Lance, the Canary in Arrow) will be returning to Arrow before she takes up the mantle of the White Canary in Legends of Tomorrow.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an Xbox One Exclusive, for a time, we knew that, but now we know exactly what time; a year. Playstation owners will have to wait until holiday season 2016 to play the game.

Bungie have given Destiny players a little sneak look at some of the (apparently) vast arsenal that’s coming to Destiny with the Taken King DLC. Not so much information as more images of the new toys.

Who needs scheduled release dates? Certainly not Scott Cawthorn the creator of Five Nights at Freddy’s! Originally due to be released on Halloween of this year, the fourth game in the series is out. Right now, on Steam.

Suicide Squad trailer released in HD, a look at Oliver Queen’s new outfit and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 gets a trailer.

The first trailer for Xmen apocalypse appeared at Comic Con this week, and while we don’t have that to show you, we do have a detailed description, as well as the confirmation of the official Four Horseman; Magneto, Psylocke, Storm and Angel.

Speaking of Super Hero trailers, or, more precisely, villain trailers, here’s an official release of the pirated Suicide Squad trailer that the WB have been unable to contain, so they did good by everyone and released an HD version.

Star John C Reilly has pretty much confirmed Wreck it Ralph 2. Though it’ll most likely be somewhere after all the other sequels (and new properties) that are coming out in the coming years. (Frozen 2, the Incredibles 2, Cars 34(probably).

A whole lot of talking went on at Comic Con this week, some of it about our favourite scarlet Speedster The Flash, season two is only 14 weeks away and we’ve got a little run down of season one as well as a cryptic look at what we can expect in season 2. (Blue lightning, the answer is blue lightning).

Speaking of DCs’s television shows, Arrow, which saw Oliver Queen going off on holiday and hanging up his hood at the end of the last season, has a new costume. It looks very cool, as well as practical. Diggle is also getting new threads this season, though this one’s a little vague.

Finally, as a surprise to no one, Bran will be returning for season 6 of Game of Thrones, picking his story up a little after we left him (to skip all that boring seer training)

Five nights at Freddy’s Four has a new creepy trailer, and will be coming this Halloween, this jump scar filled indie game series took the lets play community by storm.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 has a trailer, and it involves skating, which is good, since, you know, I don’t buy Pro Skater games for the FPS sections.

Batman Arkham Knight has had a heap of trouble on the PC, so much so that WB are holding off on the Batgirl DLC for the platform until it’s up to scratch.

More Ant-man TV spots, Neil Gaiman’s American Gods coming to TV and Destiny gets even more PS4 exclusives.

With Fathers’ Day being yesterday, and Ant-man having a daughter (and that relationship likely being a focal point of the upcoming Marvel film) 4 new TV spots have been released showcasing a few new scenes each.

As far as cameo rumour sources go, this has to be a first; Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine may actually appear in Xmen Apocalypse, but how do we know? Well a leather goods store named KikaNY posted some designs on Instagram of a, get this, duffle bag that Hugh Jackman ordered, stating that he’s filming the new Xmen film in Montreal. DUFFLE RUMOURS.

Thor; The Dark World was an entertaining film, there’s no doubt about it, but it didn’t quite capture the magic of the first instalment, well Thor Ragnarok which will be the third solo film in the norse god’s story may have a familiar face behind the camera in the guise of Thor Director Kenneth Branagh.

Daredevil is considered by many to be one of this year’s best pieces of TV, and so with the announcement that the Punisher will appear in season 2 as well as the excitement of the rest of the Defenders coming together eventually, actor Rosario Dawson talks about her character and the evolving role she’ll have in the culmination of the series.

While the Marvel Cinematic team won’t have a presence at Comic-Con this year, the Television unit will be represented in the form of a selection of the cast and crew of both Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter,

Not long ago it was announced that US television network Starz gave the go ahead to the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, and now the producer Bryan Fuller, alog with Gaiman, have released some concept art, and here’s the intriguing synopsis,

American Gods posits a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of biblical and mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon, is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to Mr. Wednesday, a conman but in reality one of the older gods, on a cross-country mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.

Destiny‘s next piece of DLC The Taken King is apparently choc-full of content and stuff we’ve been waiting for in Destiny, but if you’re playing on a PS4, you’re going to get a bit more bang for your buck, that’s right; more exclusive content; A strike, armour, weapons and a crucible map are all PS4 exclusives,

It’s been a long wait for fans of the Batman Arkham games, and unfortunately the wait for Arkham Knight has gotten a fraction longer, providing you’re playing on a PS4; a 3.5 gb patch will go live at launch.

Kerbal Space Program, a game heavy on both scientific accuracy and little green men who can survive in space for years, is coming to the PS4… sometime.

The Incredibles 2 is next on Brad Bird’s to do list, Gotham to focus on the Joker next season and The Witcher 3 Leaks early.

Brad Bird (Tomorrowland, The Incredibles)  has said that once his run on his newest Disney film, Tomorrowland, is done he’ll be turning his attention to his next project, which will most likely be a sequel to 2004’s The Incredibles, one Pixar movie that has been crying out for a sequel.

It’s finally happening folks, James McAvoy will be BALD for Xmen Apocalypse, whether this will be through choice, some mutant attack, or just MPD, we don’t know, though if he’s tasked with hunting down mutants again using Cerebro, he may choose to shave his head, as you may remember from Xmen First Class, Hank (beast) thinks this would help him. Anyway, looks great, kind of looks like a young Patrick Stewart.

Just to keep you pumped about Jurassic World which is due out on the 12th of June, we’ve got another TV trailer, with a bit more dialogue, a bit more action, but similar beat to the first one we saw all those months ago.

Gotham season 2 will focus heavily on the Joker, according to showrunner Bruno Heller. Heller states that the first part of the upcoming season will centre around the ‘proto-joker’ who we saw played by Cameron Monaghan earlier this season, and will tell the story of how the Joker came to be.

Netflix’s next Marvel series AKA Jessica Jones has a new title teaser, but also a new synopsis, one that confirms that Jones will not be new to having super powers, and will actually have done her time as a hero, before an incident caused her to go into the private detective game.

New images from Heroes Reborn all but confirm that Zachary Levi’s character will be evil (look at those dark clothes, that murky background, that gun he’s probably pointing at a puppy.) as well as some images from returning and new characters. Heroes Reborn will release this autumn.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is due out next week (May 19th) but some stores have sold early copies, as such spoilers are now abounds on the web, so watch out for those if you wanted to go into the game fresh. Streaming site Twitch has issued an embargo on streaming the game, with some users being banned for breaking this ‘no streaming before May 19th’ rule.

Towerfall Ascension, one of the most fun multiplayer experiences out there, will release its first expansion The Dark World tomorrow in the US on PS4 and PC, with it rolling out to European consoles ‘a few days later’. The expansion introduces new arrow types, heaps of new levels and 4 player co-op for maximum insanity. (we’re pretty excited.)

The first photos of the new young Xmen, a twitter campaign to save Constantine and Five nights at Freddy’s 4 announced.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel has found its new Shredder in Inception/The Wolverine‘s Brian Tee. The fate of the Turtles’ big bad seemed all but sealed in the reboot, but then this is a comic movie, there was special ooze, and franchises need to be made.

Star of It Follows Maika Monroe has been cast for Independence Day 2 as it starts filming for its summer 2016 release.

Those sneaky on set photographers; bringing us almost clear behind the scenes photos of big films since… whenever it was. Anyway, said photographers have managed to snap some images of the new roster for Xmen Apocalypse which features Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Jubilee (Lana Condor).

If you’re a fan of the NBC show Constantine and would like to see it renewed, now is the time to make your voice heard as it’s in the next few weeks that the studio will be deciding the fate of the Hellblazer adaptation. Jump onto twitter with the hastag #saveconstantine.

Orange is the New Black is coming back to Netflix this June, and before its release there’s a new banner image for the show, you know, promotion and the like.

The plotline for The Flash is heating up, and soon we should get more exposure to that super intelligent Gorilla that we’ve seen teased every so often. And by should, I mean we definitely will because these images of a showdown between the Scarlet Speedster and a giant gorilla have appeared.

It was short lived, but the paid mods feature for Skyrim between Valve and Bethesda has been pulled; with all users who bought a mod getting a complete refund. The statements from both companies state that they realise now that it was a feature that they underestimated, and issue their apologies.

It barely seems like a year ago that the first Five Nights at Freddy’s took the internet by storm… what? What do you mean it was less than a year ago? Well hell. Anyway, the fourth (and final) instalment into the jump scared filled series is coming this Halloween.

Console Minecraft players, rejoice, starting at some point this week you will be able to play as Alex, a female equivalent to the default Steve skin. When asked about the inclusion Mojang stated that it was to better represent their diverse player base. You go Mojang.

Wonder Woman loses director, Psylocke to appear in Apocalypse and the first look at David Tennant in AKA Jessica Jones.

X-men Apocalypse has cast a long awaited character, Psylocke, set to be portrayed by Olivia Munn. While the younger cast (including Sophie Turner and Ben Hardy) will most likely be part of Xavier’s school, Psylocke has the potential to be an independent player.

Captain Marvel is the MCU’s first attempt at a female lead super hero story, and there was a lot of weight put on having a female lead team behind it, well it looks like we could be halfway there, as Nicole Perlman (Co-writer of Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LaFauve (Inside Out) have been tapped to write the film, though this being Marvel there’ll be no confirmation until it’s official.

In bad news; Wonder Woman director Michelle MacLaren has stepped down from directing the stand alone movie due to ‘creative differences’. It’s unsure if the film, set to release in June 2017, will be delayed because of this.

Now that Daredevil is out in the open, and receiving huge praises from fans and critics alike, it’s time to look onto the next Netflix Marvel show; AKA Jessica Jones, which is good, since we’ve got the first image of David Tennant as the Purple Man. Whether or not we’ll see him go full purple, or whether he’ll just stick with the suit we don’t know yet.

Game of Thrones is back, which means every Tuesday for the next 10 weeks you’ll be seeing a promo for the next episode, and so here’s a quick teaser for The House of Black and White

Whoever said DC wasn’t up for a bit of levity? Check out this teaser/fun video for the season finales of IThe Flash and Arrow, aptly titled ‘super hero fight club’.

GTA V for the PC has had a long wait, but Rockstar have given PC players a great tool to express the creativity of the gaming community in the Rockstar Editor, a robust tool for filming and creating your own ‘movie moments’ in both story mode and online.

New images galore for the Thing, Vision, Antman and Angel, as well as a 3rd season of Agents of SHIELD and Black Ops 3.

Let’s kick it off with the big ones; a load of artwork and images have appeared since Wednesday; first up is our first poster of Paul Bettany’s The Vision from Avengers Age of Ultron, next up is our first good look at Jamie Bell’s CGI The Thing from the upcoming Fantastic FourWe’ve also got a shot from Antman which not only shows off the official Yellowjacket costume and suit, but also a tiny tiny Scott Lang in his Antman suit and finally a little bit of concept art for the character of Angel/Archangel in Xmen Apocalypse.

It’s been over 10 years since 2004’s The Incredibles hit our screens, one of my personal favourite pixar movies that was calling out for a sequel. Well director Brad Bird has announced that he’s finally started working on a script for the sequel.

Writers/Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street) are in popular demand at the minute, and it’s just been confirmed that they’re working on the story for the Flash solo film staring Ezra Miller, whether they’ll also direct it is unknown at the moment.

With the first episode of season 5 airing on Sunday night, Game of Thrones can be forgiven for a slew of promotional material, and today is no different, we have two new promos, one featuring the words of Littlefinger, while the second is all from the new High Sparrow, a character who takes issue with how the 7 kingdoms is treating the 7 gods.

The Haitian was one of the coolest characters in Heroes, sure, he was ridiculously over powered (power dampening and memory wipes?) and he definitely could have just hung around Sylar for the entire show and fixed literally everything, but that’s besides the point. Jimmy Jean-Louise is reprising the role in Heroes Reborn.

Agents of SHIELD is ‘all but assured’ to be getting a third season, which is cool, there’s also talk of a spinoff series, which little is known about, perhaps it will be similar to Agent Carter and run in the winter break? And finally, Daredevil‘s red costume has been revealed just in time for the show to start today.

Nintendo’s ink based shooter Splatoon for the Wii U, won’t have online voice chat, and we’ve only ourselves to blame, one of its creators put it down to their own experience with online shooters, and how it’s all very negative. This is why we can’t have nice things I suppose.

A teaser trailer has surfaced for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, with a major reveal coming out on April 26th.

Destiny patch news, it’s been a while I suppose: heavy ammo drop rates are being lowered in the crucible to help with balancing, and there’s a new loot lock mechanic which allows you to keep hold of that loot you don’t want to ‘sell’ by locking it into your inventory.
